CR2050
3V lithium coin cell
CR2050 is a 3-volt lithium coin cell — about 20 mm across and 5.0 mm thick. Same diameter as CR2032 / CR2025 / CR2016, but thicker — not a drop-in unless the device names a spacer or multi-height caps (see CR2032 vs CR2050). Chesterton Connect Gauge uses CR2050; Motionics BluePSI recommends CR2050 and allows CR2032 only with the included spacer. Murata CR2050W and tabbed CR2050HR are related labels, not automatic equivalents.

Not a substitute
Same ~20 mm diameter and 3V lithium chemistry; CR2050 is much thicker (≈5.0 mm vs ≈3.2 mm) — not interchangeable
Rechargeables are not equivalents
Rechargeable coin cells (LIR, ML, VL, CTL and similar) are not drop-in replacements for disposable CR cells — voltage and charging requirements differ. Same size does not mean the same battery.

Device-specific caveats
- Coin cells are a swallowing hazard — keep new and used cells away from children.

Notes
Same diameter as CR2032 but thicker. Kestrel DROP may use CR2050 only with a different battery door (Kestrel 123 door) — not a drop-in for stock DROP door.
