3V lithium coin cell

CR2032 is a 3-volt lithium coin cell — about 20 mm across and 3.2 mm thick. Same diameter as CR2025 and CR2016, but thicker; do not swap by size alone. See CR2032 vs CR2025 if you are choosing between the two. BR2032 is the same size but a different lithium subclass — not a pack label for CR2032.

Rechargeable coin cells (LIR, ML, VL, CTL and similar) are not drop-in replacements for disposable CR cells — voltage and charging requirements differ. Same size does not mean the same battery.

  • Do not recharge CR2032.
  • After battery replacement you may need to pair the HRM with your device again.
  • Aluminum Apple Remote = 1× CR2032/BR2032. Siri Remote generations are sealed rechargeable — do not use this answer for Siri Remote.
