- OEM names silver oxide SR1130 (G-10) — do not follow third-party sites that list LR1130/AG10 for the ML-860.
- Musical calculator; replace both cells together.

New battery but still not working?
A fresh 2 × SR1130 should restore Casio ML-860 if the battery was the problem. Work through the checks below before replacing the device.
- Check orientation
Confirm the cell is seated correctly: Match the polarity marks in the compartment / manual diagram
- Check the battery type
This device needs 2 × SR1130 (silver_oxide). Rechargeable cells are not supported for this device. Same size does not always mean the same battery.
- Check known model-specific issues
OEM names silver oxide SR1130 (G-10) — do not follow third-party sites that list LR1130/AG10 for the ML-860. Musical calculator; replace both cells together. Button cells are a choking hazard — keep new and used cells away from children.
- Confirm the battery itself
For most coin cells, fitting a known-good fresh cell of the correct code is simpler than capacity testing.
