Battery
CR1225
3V lithium coin cell
DL1225 is a pack label for CR1225 — same battery, different name on the package.
Common questions
- What is a CR1225 battery?
- CR1225 is a 3-volt lithium coin cell about 12.5 mm across and 2.5 mm thick. Victorinox Spartan Lite (and related Lite LED tools) take two CR1225 cells. Same diameter family as CR1220 and CR1216, but thicker — not a drop-in unless the device names CR1225.
- What do the letters in CR1225 mean?
- Under the IEC naming system, C is the assigned code for lithium–manganese dioxide — not taken from the spelling of those chemicals — and R means round (coin or button). The numbers encode size. Same diameter with a different first letter is a different battery. Full guide: CR vs LR vs SR.
- What is CR1225 also called?
- CR1225 pack labels and aliases on this site include DL1225, BR1225, ECR1225. These are names for the same battery entity — not chemistry substitutes.
- What devices use a CR1225?
- Examples on this site: Victorinox Spartan Lite. Always confirm on the device page.

Rechargeables are not equivalents
Rechargeable coin cells (LIR, ML, VL, CTL and similar) are not drop-in replacements for disposable CR cells — voltage and charging requirements differ. Same size does not mean the same battery.

Notes
3V lithium coin 12.5×2.5 mm. Thicker than CR1220/CR1216 — not a drop-in for those sizes.
