CR123A
3V lithium cell
CR123A is a 3-volt lithium cylinder cell. CR123 is the same cell family. Compact film cameras (Contax T2, Olympus Stylus Epic / mju II) use one CR123A — avoid 3.7V RCR123A rechargeables unless the device allows them. Always match the code named in the device manual.

Rechargeables are not equivalents
Rechargeable coin cells (LIR, ML, VL, CTL and similar) are not drop-in replacements for disposable CR cells — voltage and charging requirements differ. Same size does not mean the same battery.

Device-specific caveats
- Keep lithium cells away from children.
- Avoid 3.7V RCR123A rechargeables unless documentation for this body explicitly allows them — voltage differs from primary CR123A.
- Do not use 3.7V RCR123A rechargeables as a drop-in — they can damage electronics designed for 3V primary cells.
- Do not use rechargeable batteries (limited capacity) per August.

Notes
3V lithium cylinder. Used in many sensors and compact film cameras (Contax T2, Olympus Stylus Epic / mju II — Sprint 1B). Avoid 3.7V RCR123A rechargeables unless the device explicitly allows them. CR123 is the same cell family.
