AA
1.5V alkaline cell
AA is a standard cylindrical cell. Devices differ on alkaline vs lithium primary vs NiMH — never assume a rechargeable is allowed unless the manufacturer says so. Coolpix L120 needs four AA with a Battery type menu setting; PowerShot A-series AA models and Instax Mini 11 each name specific chemistries — open the device page.
