Battery codes by market

Why US packs say 357 / A76 while many manuals say SR44 / LR44.

Same battery, different print

IEC codes (LR44, CR2032) dominate manuals and many EU/Asia packs.

US retail often leads with trade numbers (A76, 357, 377).

Online shops love AG13 / L1154 shorthand — still check the battery type.

Country ≠ battery type

A pack sold in the US is not a different voltage just because it says 357.

Use Check codes to map a printed label to the standard code.

Watch-trade numbers

Jewellers quote 377 / 364 — these map to silver-oxide families, not lithium CR batteries.
