Benevo UltraPen battery
2 × 1.55V silver oxide button cell
How to replace it
| How to open | Open the pen battery compartment as shown in the Quick Start. Insert two SR41 cells with (+) facing up, then close the compartment securely. |
|---|---|
| Orientation | Positive (+) poles facing up as shown in the QSG diagram |
| Access | Tool-free |
| Notes | Replace both cells together. The base/charging unit is separate (USB) — these SR41 cells power the pen tip/sensor assembly. |
Important
- Benevo QSG names SR41 silver oxide only — do not substitute LR41 / AG3 alkaline unless a later revision says otherwise.
- Button cells are a choking hazard — keep new and used cells away from children.

New battery but still not working?
A fresh 2 × SR41 should restore Benevo UltraPen if the battery was the problem. Work through the checks below before replacing the device.
- Check orientation
Confirm the cell is seated correctly: Positive (+) poles facing up as shown in the QSG diagram
- Check the battery type
This device needs 2 × SR41 (silver_oxide). Rechargeable cells are not supported for this device. Same size does not always mean the same battery.
- Check known model-specific issues
Benevo QSG names SR41 silver oxide only — do not substitute LR41 / AG3 alkaline unless a later revision says otherwise. Button cells are a choking hazard — keep new and used cells away from children.
- Confirm the battery itself
For most coin cells, fitting a known-good fresh cell of the correct code is simpler than capacity testing.
- Still not responding?
If a correct, fresh battery installed properly does not restore the device, the fault may be elsewhere — the device may need service or replacement.
