Phonak Virto M-Titanium battery

1 × 1.4V zinc-air button cell

Phonak maps Virto M-Titanium to zinc-air size 10 (yellow tab / PR70). Match the empty pack number before buying.

Hearing aids are medical devices. Use only the size and type your audiologist or manufacturer specifies. Zinc-air size codes do not fit every aid, and they are not substitutes for sealed rechargeable systems. Keep button and zinc-air cells away from children and pets; swallowed cells are a medical emergency. This page is a size guide — not a fitting or clinical recommendation.

New battery but still not working?

A fresh 1 × ZA10 should restore Phonak Virto M-Titanium if the battery was the problem. Work through the checks below before replacing the device.

  1. Check orientation

Confirm the cell is seated correctly: Match polarity marks in the battery compartment / Phonak guide

  2. Check the battery type

This device needs 1 × ZA10 (zinc_air). Rechargeable cells are not supported for this device. Same size does not always mean the same battery.

  3. Check known model-specific issues

Medical device — follow your audiologist and Phonak; this page is a size guide only, not a fitting recommendation. Disposable zinc-air only — not for Phonak sealed rechargeable models. Keep zinc-air / button cells away from children and pets; swallowed cells are a medical emergency.

  4. Confirm the battery itself

Try a known-good fresh cell of the exact code listed above.

  5. Still not responding?

If a correct, fresh battery installed properly does not restore the device, the fault may be elsewhere — the device may need service or replacement.

Replacing the device?

Phonak Virto M-Titanium is still sold new. Only consider a replacement if the checks above did not help.
