1 × 3V lithium cell
This device uses more than one power source. Only the user-replaceable cell(s) listed below can be changed.
How to replace it

|---|---|
| Orientation | Negative (flat) end first; positive end facing out toward battery cover |
| Water resistance | IPX4 splash resistant — not waterproof; do not submerge |
| Low battery indicator | Laser display battery bars; GPS menu BATTERY item is for the internal GPS pack only — not the CR2 |
| Notes | Only the CR2 for the laser section is user-replaceable. GPS lithium pack is sealed — contact Bushnell support if GPS battery fails; opening voids warranty. |

New battery but still not working?
A fresh 1 × CR2 should restore Bushnell Hybrid if the battery was the problem. Work through the checks below before replacing the device.
- Check orientation
Confirm the cell is seated correctly: Negative (flat) end first; positive end facing out toward battery cover
- Check the battery type
This device needs 1 × CR2 (lithium). Rechargeable cells are not supported for this device. Same size does not always mean the same battery.
- Check known model-specific issues
Mixed power: CR2 (laser, user-replaceable) + sealed internal rechargeable lithium (GPS). GPS menu battery status does not report CR2 state. Do not attempt to open the device to service the GPS battery.
- Confirm the battery itself
For most coin cells, fitting a known-good fresh cell of the correct code is simpler than capacity testing.
- Still not responding?
If a correct, fresh battery installed properly does not restore the device, the fault may be elsewhere — the device may need service or replacement.
